The Lancaster
Port Commission
is the statutory
harbour authority
for the Port of
Lancaster.

Since 1750 we’ve been looking after the Port of Lancaster, currently operating at Glasson Dock. We are a Trust Port and have responsibilities towards the navigable channel of the River Lune, for both commercial and leisure vessels.

Glasson Dock is a tidal port with two commercial river berths and a 15 metre wide gate that gives access to an inner dock and a further three berths.
